Introduction

TRHJ-3062 is a millimeter-wave silicon-based (CMOS) chip with integrated 4 Tx & Rx channels, operating frequency ranging from 24.25GHz to 29.5GHz, which is mainly used in phased array radar system. The chip switches the receiving and transmitting modes in half duplex mode. In transmit mode, the RF input signal enters into four transmit channels after passing through power divider. In receiving mode, the RF signals pass through four receiving channels, and are combined into one way through combiner and then goes to output. In the above two modes, the chip provides 6-bit phase adjustment (adjustment range: 360°, step: 5.625°) and 6-bit amplitude adjustment (adjustment range: 31.5dB, step: 0.5dB).

The chip uses a simple four-wire serial interface (SPI) for register control. In addition, one set of SPI interfaces can control up to 16 chips. The special pin control can realize the fast switching between receiving and transmitting modes, and ensure the synchronization of all chips in the array system.

The working environment temperature of the TRHJ-3062 chip ranges from −40°C to +85°C.
